Yours Truly, The Duke is the first novel in the historical romance Say I Do trilogy about dukes needing to wed to tap into their wealth by New York Times bestselling author Amelia Grey.
Fredericka Hale needs a husband, and fast. She's been caring for her deceased sister's three young children, and now a childless cousin has petitioned the court for custody. Fredericka is powerless to stop her, but having a husband might sway the ruling. The last thing Fredericka wants is a hurried-up marriage to a man she doesn't know—much less love, but she'll do it for the children. So when the handsome Duke of Wyatthaven shows up with a proposal, she accepts. He'll help her, and in return, they'll lead separate lives. But distance cannot keep them from their powerful attraction.
At the top of his game in London, the Duke of Wyatthaven has no interest in marriage. However, if Wyatt doesn't marry by week's end, he'll lose a sizable inheritance from his grandmother. When Wyatt's solicitor finds Miss Fredericka Hale, Wyatt considers this little hiccup solved. Miss Hale is lovely, and intelligent. Most importantly, she prefers country life to London, so he's free to continue his life as usual. But when circumstances force Fredericka and the children to show up at the duke's door, Wyatt can't deny he's always been under her spell. Will the duke give up his bachelor lifestyle and give into the fiery passion growing between them?

Grey (Gone with the Rogue) launches the Say I Do trilogy with this slow-burning Regency romance. Fredericka Hale does her best to raise her nieces and nephew—nine-year-old Elise, seven-year-old Charles, and five-year-old Bella—after the untimely death of their parents, but her cousin, Jane, threatens to take the children away from her. To keep the family together, Fredericka agrees to an out-of-the-blue marriage proposal from Wyatt, Duke of Wyatthaven. Wyatt, for his part, needs to wed within a week to avoid being disinherited by his grandmother. Knot tied, Wyatt abruptly returns to London, not expecting Fredericka to follow. But follow she does, showing up at his home in the middle of a ball with the children in tow. After all, Fredericka needs Wyatt’s power and influence to counter Jane’s scheming. As the couple spend time together, a powerful attraction develops and they realize that their marriage may be more than just convenient. The slowly blossoming romance is made even more enticing by a healthy dose of humor, due largely to the antics of the children and the quirky behavior of Wyatt’s marriage-phobic friends. Fans of the marriage-of-convenience trope will be chuffed.

The Duke of Wyatthaven needs to marry within seven days or he will lose his fortune--as stipulated by his grandmother's will. His solicitor finds him Miss Fredericka Hale, who is in desperate need of a spouse in order to stop her dead sister's children from being taken away from her. As an arranged marriage of convenience for them both, Wyatt continues to live the bachelor lifestyle in town while Fredericka stays at his estate in the country with the children. A seemingly perfect plan to get them both what they want goes awry as small children, sporting clubs, and a surprising amount of desire put this just-for-show marriage to the test. Is this a marriage of convenience, or did the Duke really mean the words "I do?" VERDICT Grey is back (after How To Train Your Earl) with the first book in the "Say I Do" romance trilogy. Complete with the devilishly handsome duke, the independently fierce bride, and a host of new Regency rogues to devour, this new series is off to a satisfying start.--Judy Garner
